Hydrogen Analyzers & Leak Detectors

h2scan logo

H2SCAN CORPORATION provides the most accurate, tolerant and affordable hydrogen leak detection and process gas measurement solutions for industrial markets. H2scan’s patented, solid-state core hydrogen sensor technology is exclusively licensed from the U.S. Department of Energy and their hydrogen analyzer & leak detection solutions tackle the many limitations typically associated with traditional hydrogen sensing technologies and uniquely offer the following advantages over competing solutions:

  1. Lowest total cost of ownership,
  2. Low maintenance and longer calibration intervals,
  3. Simple system integration and installation,
  4. Tolerance to harsh background contaminants.

H2scan’s hydrogen-specific sensing systems and hydrogen leak detectors are uniquely able to detect hydrogen against virtually any background gases without false readings or expensive support equipment required, and can be customised to our customer’s requirements.

Product Highlights

H2scan Model 2700 Series

HY-OPTIMA™ 2700 Series Explosion Proof In-line Hydrogen Process Analyzer

  • The HY-OPTIMA™ 2700 Series, Explosion Proof In-line Hydrogen Process Analyzer is designed to detect and/or measure hydrogen using a solid-state, non-consumable sensor that is configured to operate in process gas streams
  • Manufactured to operate in full range (0.5% to 100%) hydrogen conditions, up to 3 atm
  • Uses thin film technology that provides a direct hydrogen measurement that is not cross sensitive to other gases
  • The hydrogen specific solid-state sensing element is designed for ease of use, interface flexibility and true process control
  • Ideal for hydrogen production and petrochemical applications where real-time measurements can enhance process plant efficiencies, diagnostics, and maintenance management
Hy-Optima 700B

HY-OPTIMA™ 700B Series Process Hydrogen Analyzer

  • Designed to detect and/or measure hydrogen using a solid-state, non-consumable sensor that is configured to operate in process gas streams
  • Uses thin film technology provides a direct hydrogen measurement that is not cross sensitive to other gases
  • Includes sensor types that are designed for specific hydrogen ranges, corrosive gas tolerances and operation when no hydrogen is present
  • Manufactured to operate in full range (0.5% to 100%) hydrogen conditions, up to 3 atm
  • For use in process gas streams with N2, CO2, Alkanes, and other inert backgrounds
H2Scan Hy-Alerta 500

HY-ALERTA™ 500 Handheld Hydrogen Leak Detector

  • H2scan’s HY-ALERTA™ 500 Handheld Hydrogen Leak Detector is the industry’s most versatile, portable hydrogen leak detector that is able to respond to the widest range of hydrogen gas concentrations without the need of any peripheral equipmen
  • The hydrogen sensor probe has a unique visual LED array that will effectively help navigate to the source of a hydrogen leak where hydrogen gas is produced, used, transported, or stored
  • 2 sensing elements on the same semi-conductor die - detects hydrogen leaks as low as 15 ppm and will not saturate or be destroyed when detecting high concentrations of hydrogen up to 100%
 H2Scan Hy-Alerta 2600

HY-ALERTA™ 2600 Explosion Proof Area Hydrogen Monitor

  • H2scan’s HY-ALERTA™ 2600 Explosion Proof Area Hydrogen Monitor provides hydrogen-specific leak detection and measurement for hydrogen concentrations as low as 4000 ppm
  • Can be scaled to any concentration up to 5% hydrogen by volume, a range representing 10% to 125% of hydrogen’s lower flammability limit
  • Consists of two modules and a wireless remote control - the Sensor Module houses the hydrogen sensor and the Control Module houses the LCD display and I/O.
  • Hydrogen-specific sensor technology has no cross sensitivity to other combustible gases, thus eliminating false positive alarms and ensuring safety system reliability
